Imus is a fool for thinking that something was acceptable to say such as that. He took away from the accomplishments of those young women, and brought them into the spotlight for something so stupid. I think it was just as much a slam against women as it was a slam against blacks. I mean really - judging an athletic team by how "cute" the players are? I don't hear anyone judging the Lakers by that, or the Yankees. But the fact they are women, Imus thought it was proper to assess their appearance, as opposed to their talent as athletes, and their accomplishments as students.

He should be fired, and then he should never be able to speak without someone bringing this incident up for the rest of his life.

Why wonder about such trash?

Just learn a lesson from Don Imus, and if you ever are privileged to host a radio program remember that there are F.C.C. rules and regulations that you are obliged to follow.
