I had a question floating around here some place asking any one if they know where I can get a cat that no one wants, And I have finally found a kitty. Thanks to all that tried to help and the person who did.

Hello,
I'm very glad you have found an animal friend. Love and cherish him/her and take good care of your new companion. Make regular trips to the vet's office, get all the necessary shots and vaccinations like feline leukemia (a horrible way for a cat to die), feed your little critter healthy food (not necessarily the most expensive - check with your vet to see what he/she recommends), keep the litter box clean, give him/her lots of healthy toys to play with and keep mind and body active, make sure there are no toxic chemicals or objects around to poison your feline friend, and give your pal lots and lots of love!!! Also, to avoid the over-population of "unwanted" pets, please have your cat spayed or neutered. If this is to be an inside cat, to protect yourself, furniture, curtains, etc., from being clawed to shreds, you can easily have the front claws removed. This doesn't stop the cat from doing anything they want, even climbing onto things. It just saves lots of frustration, anger and money to replace things that can get torn up. Even after having my cats declawed, they still sharpen their "toes" by scratching on the couch or their scratching post, but nothing gets damaged, and it feels good to the cat.
If and when you want to add another animal member to your family, remember there are thousands of "unwanted" animals dumped or killed or sent to Humane Society shelters every day. I've found nearly all my animal friends at such shelters, or from strays who have just decided they were going to live with me (regardless of my intention to have another animal around), or from friends.
Enjoy our new friend, and don't forget to take lots of pictures or videos, just like parents do of their new babies. This is your baby right now, and you have every right to be a proud parent!
