Thta's just a stupid thing to do - she won't pass out but the codeine might may her stomach upset. She might get a little buzz.

As far as I know, tylenol and alcohol aren't the worst things to take together. I think that's aspirin you can't take with alcohol. As for the tylenol, even assuming that he's taking the max. strength pills, you can take up to 8 of those and still be fine. Combining that with alcohol won't make you pass out, but it may be dangerous for your liver. It also depends on how much alcohol he's drinking with the 6 tylenol. But I'm gonna go ahead and assume that he should be fine taking 6 tylenol and keeping below the acceptable blood-alcohol level, .008%, which is about 3 beers or shots of 80 proof (vodka, tequila).

Now, what I'm confused about is, why does he want to take both drugs for? If it's for some ache, fine, whatever. But that's pretty much the bounds of acceptable reasons to do so. For anything else, get him to reconsider.

6 tylenol is 3 doses. Probably not enuf to make you pass out, even with alcohol consumption, but not good on the liver. The alcohol will probably be what she passes out from.

I'm curious why someone would want to take 6 tylenol and some alcohol. Tell your friend she needs to find another way to get attention.

Tylenol and alcohol should NOT be taken together. Tylenol contains acetaminophen which can cause severe liver damage when mixed with alcohol. Tell her to read the warning on the Tylenol bottle. It explicitly says NOT to take it with alcohol. It's nothing to fool around with.

She probably won't pass out unless she drinks enough alcohol to make herself pass out, but she can definitely do some serious damage to her liver. I would not recommend this combination.

Sounds like a great way to overload your liver and cause it some serious damage!

JK is right, damages the liver, and is not curable either.

not a good idea for your friend!

it won't do much except some damage to her liver and stomach possibly she won't die from it though and i don't think she would pass out from it unless she drinks herself into passing out

You wouldn't pass it out, but it wouldn't be good for your kidneys or your liver.

Uhh...might be a little worse than pass out.
