I thought Iraq didn't have any WMD's?
All I've heard over the past 3 years is that after inspection, there were no WMD's in Iraq...are you educated yet?

The debate about WMD's was an effective political ploy to discredit the president and win congressional seats for the democrat party. The belief that Iraq possessed WMD's did not originate with president Bush.
In a post-9-11 world, where the US public and congress were demanding answers to questions such as "Why didn't the federal government connect the dots and prevent this attack?", the US could no longer tolerate Iraq's violations of UN resolutions. The decision to invade Iraq was appropriate and justified.

The question is are you educated yet ?
So, since evidence of WMD's had been found and the fact that the former regime used them, you have decided to ignore these facts.
I'll assume the $3.69 reference is your local gas prices and some how you want to believe that you should be paying less because of Iraq?
You really need to learn basic economics, supply and demand.
Since none of this fits your political agenda I guess we should just ignore them then.

Do you find it at all odd that in 1996 Newsweek reported that nuclear weapons were leaving the former USSR because of bad security and the inability to pay for security. Look at the countries along the Russian border that have nuclear weapons. So Saddam didn't, with his palace of gold, go after the same thing? Why was he refusing complete access to UN investigators? Wasn't that the ultimatum? Did he not provoke the reasons?
We seem to have forgotten that.
And why did Iran suddenly have them when we decided Iraq did not? The differences between Shia and Sunni Muslims don't seem to be too far apart at times.
Not that we should have gone to war. Not that we did the right thing. I just really think it is ignorant to assume Saddam didn't have nuclear weapons because we weren't smart enough to catch him at his own game.

You want to bring the price of gas down? Start a movement to *stop driving* !!! Its called supply and demand... if the demand goes down, the gas companies will *have* to reduce prices to stay alive.
WMD's were found... chemical ones. Deal with it... its the truth. The media wants to focus on Nukes... which were a minimal part of the concern... chemical weapons were the concern.

Umm... yeah they did too. I know people who actually saw them. The liberal media, who is doing a great job of turning America away from the war; got that story out. Maybe you should listen to Green Day's song "American Idiot".
And gas prices have nothing to do with the war. Why don't you get on the internet and do some research about this war instead of slamming it. I'll give you a great place to start:

I personally saw two of these 'nonexistent' WMDs.
I am what the anti-war people fear the most - an eyewitness.

Well I guess the defense department lied when the release the referenced document.

You must have heard that from the Democrap camp because they found WMD's in 2004 still intact on warheads, both the biological and chemical type! They also found buried MIG fighter and other armament! No nukes were found though!

Wow, they found some rusty warheads from the early 80's that even the regime had forgot existed. The war wasn't fought over a few mustard gas and sarin warheads, Iraq supposedly had TONs of chemicals weapons (they didn't) and a chemical/biological weapons program (they didn't).
The intelligence community failed to properly analyze the situation, and the policymakers failed to consider alternatives to war. Plain and simple.
