set up a sprinkler near the furniture and rig it to turn on when the cats get on the stuff you don't want them on. After a few "showers" they'll get the message. There is also a product called "Indoor NO" that you can spray the furniture with. Cats (and some humans) will avoid that smell at all costs...Oh, and don't forget about the sprinklers when YOU want to get on the furniture...Otherwise the reminder will be a bit chilling!

Hi well cats like to be everywhere, is not like dogs that you tell then no and they wont go there,....Spray bottle can work but most of the times cats like the spray bottle, I think the only aswer will be either cover the furniture or keep the cat in different room.

Sprinkler system.
A spray bottle filled with water.
I noticed at the hardware store the other day that there actually is a product or two that deter cats. Look in the pest control aisle.

I use the plastic mats that you put on carpets to protect them. They have little spikes on the bottom of them so they won't slip. Flip them over so that the spikes are face up and the cats won't go on the furniture. Doesn't hurt the cats - it is just very uncomfortable.

Just get a very large dog and you will see them no more.

anti freeze. I heard that keeps the cats away.
