They also have it in their mind sets that this imaginary god can do no wrong. It is this lacking in ourselves and this need to have and be linked to this super human or super natural force transcends common sense and logic. We all see world leaders take on god like presence and from there with a slight motion kill one, ten's, hundreds, thousands and millions all in the name of doing a deities work or cleansing and purirfying a culture against another culture that is just as much apart of that area as the other. It is funny how the Christians can march against and some fundies even have killed and destroyed abortion clinics and their workers but none of them will lift a finger to fight a real cause and give the children that are already here their full attention and assistance.

The bible is merely a history book, that states the beliefs of the people at that time. That is the reason why it is so filled with inconsistancies. The churches need people to believe in it, or they'll go out of business. Don't get me wrong most churches do some wonderful things. However, your belief in God, is just that, 'Your belief'. Don't let anyone take away your beliefs. Take the bible and pick the good things that you 'truly believe', not just the ones that suit your desires and use them to be the best person that you can be. The God I believe in will think you're pretty okay if you do. As for the abortion issue, that's a decision between a woman and 'her' God. I would love for her to not have one, there are other alternatives (in most cases), and it's a decision she'll have to live with for the rest of her life. But I would never condemn her if she truly believes it to be the right decision. If you're in that position, please make an informed decision.
