How to hand in a resume?

I'm applying for a job in retail, and I've been told a resume is required. I've never made one because most jobs I've applied for needed only paper applications. I've written the cover letter and the resume itself, but I'm confused as to whether I should staple, paper clip, or use an evelope when I hand it in to the manager. Does anybody have any suggestions?

The resume shouldn't be stapled or stuffed in an envelope - you should paperclip it or hand it in with the application. You ideally don't want any folds or tears on the resume.

paper clip, or put it in a 9x11 envelope if you want to keep it clean and confidential.

I would take it in person. Be sure to dress like you're already working there.
