why do we wear briefs?

to protect the penni, while unzipping ur pants and hitting against the zip, when erect in pants.

Comfort I guess. I read an article saying that men who wear briefs are proud of their package and like showing it off. My husband wears briefs and I think it's sexy.

cause some girls think they are sexy and it also depends on the kind you wear, My I wear mens string bikini briefs I get them at walmart in the mens underwear department

i think a lot more guys wear boxers, which protect the penis, and are more comfortable. Breifs hold everything in place, and when worn under pants hise an erection better than boxers. when w/o pants they show the shape of the penis & testicles better than boxers

its just a matter of comfort, i know a lot of friends who dont wear then, and they are happy, its even better if we can avoid them as they can cause some damage

nothing special. some people wear boxers, some even not wearing at all.

to keep the spots and stains off of our pants
