There are many of you who are very young...But you do not communicate your feelings or ideas very well at all...The text msg method of spelling is such a nuisance and a deterent - for me at least - to reply to your inquiry.

I strongly recommend that you take the time and effort to present your words in proper format...It is good practice for when you finish school and have to do it for real...The programs here have spellcheck - use it

Take care & good luck

It definitely is annoying when people don't take the time to make sure their messages are spelled correctly, and have proper grammar. It is also very annoying when people don't put their messages in the proper Yahoo Answers category.

The world is definitely changing. While I agree with you on using proper spelling and grammar, this reminds me of my father's reactions to things when I and my siblings were young. On the one hand the fear is an impending demise of the English language. On the other hand this is a fad that the current younger generation is growing up with and that we're not used to.

In my view, these kids are crying out for help on issues that come from the heart. If we get caught up in insisting they use proper English we may miss the actual need. And in today's world, I feel it's important to try to find the need and help them see a way to fix it rather than focusing in on how they communicate it. For my part I sometimes have to read a question several times before I get what they're asking but I believe it's the asking that's important. They're reaching out for help and I feel it's my duty to look past the surface and help however I can.

    Just my opinion.
