Are there any Guys out there who have female friends?

I do....and they are good friends too....sex is not everything in life. A good healthy and constructive conversation between friends is good for the mind!

Yes. I've had many female friends without ulterior motives attached to these friendships.

After some 20 years of knowing, I gave my female friend a hug on meeting her and then realised that it was the first time (that I could recall) of ever having touched her! And I'm quite a tactile person ~ with the 'right' people.

The probable reason is they are immature,(you do not mention ages), you may be mixing in the wrong circles, there could be any number of reasons why they behave the way they do, look at the demographics of the situation and the answer will probably hit you like a bolt of lightening from nowhere.

I have about the same number of female friends and male. they are just friends if nit came to sex it would`nt be the same, they are friends and we can talk without sex raising it`s ugly head and that's better I think.

I have many girl friends. Now that I am older the instinct to want to sleep with them is not so great. As a young adult I also had many girl friends and always did want to have sex. I usually tried to respect our friendship. (usually)
