Did anyone see the rainbow ring around the moon last night?Why did that happen and has it ever happened before

A ring around the moon is caused by ice crystals high in the atmosphere that refract light at specific angles. Like all refraction, this causes a bit of rainbow effect too.

I did not see it but these are called moon rings. The process is similar to a rainbow being formed. I did not see it, but such rings are causes by high thin clouds, so since my sky was totally clear I didn't see it. But your location must have had the right kind of clouds. Rings around the Moon are not unusual, although ones with visible colors are rare.

Moisture in the air. A ring around the moon usually means rain is coming.
