Find one with an unique personality, and worry less about an unique appearance.

"Tiger" like cats are the Tabby colorations. Maine Coons are about as close to a ''Lion'' as you'll find.

Believe me, I'm all about a beautiful & unique appearance....but the personality that won me over, belonged to a common gray tabby.

The Toyger is a house cat that is bred to resemble its larger wilder cousins. Google it. It is short for Toy Tiger. But keep in mind that they are uncommon and most likely expensive.

A yellow tabby will remine you of a tiger. Try to get one with brown strips running from mouth to ear and brown stripes on body and tail and is short haired. We have one, he is wonderful. Good Luck.

i have a bengal that was in a shelter for 5 years. the shelter rescued it from a cat mill. this is a purebred bengal - not a mix - awesome looking and has a fantastic personality. very cool breed.

I agree with "paintedrain2"'s answer, go with personality and character rather than the exterior appearance.

The cutest, best and most loyal and grateful kitties are sometimes the rescued ones at shelters!

Bengal cats look like miniature leopards. Ocicats look like miniature leopards too but they are bigger/bulkier than Bengals.
