dream question.. horrible images?
ok.. I am a Christian... last night I had a horrific dream. I was trying to protect my family from a group of men that were on a mission to murder me and my family. after one failed another would come to try. It never ended. I even saw myself killing some of these men. My children were not in the dream and either were my animals but they were a big part of the dream. This was so vivid that I even remember one of the men hiding in a dead flower bed with sod over himslef to hide. I saw the movement and shoved something in his neck.
A bit about my life lately.... I work 6 days a week and yes, I am exhausted. ( i slept til 3:30 this afternoon dreaming this dream). I have 2 kids at home with me. My son isnt doing well in school and my daughter broke her wrist 2 weeks ago. I am also trying to stop a forclosure on my house...
I tell myself that stress caused this dream, but dang... how violent and graphic it was.
the dream didnt end. All my neighbors knew about the murders but stood around and tried to help at some point. I hide in their houses when the killing was over, but they wanted ME, not my children or pets. I coultn wake myself up like usual and I wasn't scared when I woke up either. any one know what this might be?
Dr. WHat.. I dont drink coffee or pop, and certainly dont smoke! :)

I agree with Sharon, turn it over to God....Satan is attacking you and your family right now. Remember Satan knows you weakness. Say out loud "Satan be gone in Jesus name I plead the blood of the lamb, you have no authority over me or my family" whenever you feel you are being attacked.

Honestly, I do think that stress is the biggest part of your problem. Dreams are the brain's way of processing our experiences and our feelings and thoughts. I don't think it's too far a stretch to be fearful of murderous strangers if you watch even a little news. You may be feeling like you are under attack from Satan and you well may be. Like any other problem in your life, the answer is in prayer. Really give it over to God and let him take care of it.

I think your dream says alot. This is how I always analyze my dreams... I see ALL the people in the dream as different parts of myself. So in your case...YOU are trying to kill yourself with all that you are doing. Maybe it is time to make some big changes...maybe let the house go and move to a place you can afford...cut back on your hours to spend more time taking care of yourself and kids.

sounds like you are overwhelmed with the responsibilities or all that is around you and you are feeling attacked. I think it would be a good time to get some help with all that you are carrying on your shoulders and ask for Jesus to pull the load for you. He has bigger shoulders and can do more than we can in our own strength.

The men were probably symbols of stress factors, and you being violent with them was you fighting and overcoming them. It may have been scary, but sometimes we can be afraid of our own strength.

cut back on the coffee. get more exercise. quit smoking if you smoke.
