my daughter is doing a physics report 12th grade, and she has to find the ymax from 20 different rocket launches she did.

i start with 10 and go to 22,

22 + a 120%increase and so on. i need an equation that takes care of at least 5 increases.

10 to 22

then 22 to34

34 to 46 and so on

iu need ONE equation that will work for all these numbers

the increase from 10 to 22 is 120% right? how do i show this increase in equation form?

i have y=1.2x+10 becasue 10 is the number we started with.

how do i fine the 10th year or 16 year?

i have to write equations for 4 lines that intersect to form sides of a parallelogram.. then do the same for 3 lines to form sides of a triangle.

i tried using my graphing calc to help but for the parall. i get 2 perpendicular graphs.... is that the answer? i also have to justify my answers

My friend Bob has a friend from high school who's 3 year old child has had 2 tumors removed from his brain. This child's pre school teacher noticed a speech impairment and let the parents know that they should check into speech therapy for him. This little boy seemed to have a cold for a while. When going into the ER because he wasn't getting better, they did tests ad found 2 tumors on his brain. One was cancerous and the other was a completely different type of tumor which they say usually starts in other parts of the body. This child most likely will not survive according to Dr.s. Please pray for his family and his comfort and healing of any kind. Thank you so much.

I have been blamed for something that was totally out of my hands and I am having a hard time with it. I will not go back and talk to my boss about it because they will feel i am placing blame on others( which I would be because it is not my fault) but I dont want to get into that. I just apologized and said i will do better and that was that. but of course the knawing feeling to defend myself is killing me. If you do pray for me, ask God to give me the words to say if any and to hold me up in this time. TY

DO you come here to help others with faith? Do you want to make them believers? I noticed that many of us give awesome advice and careing advice to others. Even pointing them to the bible for help. I always go by my personal experience to help others. I am glad we are all here to bond together and say how great it is to have Jesus in our lives. We know how tough it is to be human, but Jesus gives us that extra strength when we are not having a great day. :)

not for what sounds good together but for people that have been a good part of your life? Relatives, teachers, friends. My sisters and I carry the names of my mother, aunt and great aunt. All our boys have a family name or a special person's name in it, and my daughter has the middle name of what my mom was going to name me.

Does anybody think of this or is it just an originalty contest?

ok.. I am a Christian... last night I had a horrific dream. I was trying to protect my family from a group of men that were on a mission to murder me and my family. after one failed another would come to try. It never ended. I even saw myself killing some of these men. My children were not in the dream and either were my animals but they were a big part of the dream. This was so vivid that I even remember one of the men hiding in a dead flower bed with sod over himslef to hide. I saw the movement and shoved something in his neck.

A bit about my life lately.... I work 6 days a week and yes, I am exhausted. ( i slept til 3:30 this afternoon dreaming this dream). I have 2 kids at home with me. My son isnt doing well in school and my daughter broke her wrist 2 weeks ago. I am also trying to stop a forclosure on my house...

I tell myself that stress caused this dream, but dang... how violent and graphic it was.

Who here thinks Fibrmyalgia has much to do with the symptoms of depression bringing on pain and triedness?

Benjamin Marcus is my first son. We loved the name Benjamin after we heard it on "Growing Pains' sitcom. Marcus is his Great grandfathers middle name on mother's side.

Brant Montour is second son. Brant is my family Indian name and Montour is his father's family indian name. he unfortunately was stillborn.

Alexander David.... He was supposed to be a girl per ultra sound.. then he was born. We had to pick a name so we went through a baby name book and my ex picked out Alexander ( We call him Zander, a name a cousin of mine was named) and David for my Doctors name.

Olivia Abigail... well Olivia the name was with me from the first pregnancy so we kept it until the last baby was born. we went back and forth with Emily Adele and Olivia Grace...even thought about Jocelyn..... but decided on Abigail becasue that is what my mom was going to name me.

well i am up tonight taking care of a kitten my son (20) found with its umbilical cord still attached. He looked for signs of mother or other kittens but found nothing so he brought it home. He takes a bottle, but not easily. takes a while for him to get the hang of it still. I wash him with a warm wet cloth like his mother would and hope for the best. I am going to call the city animal shelter to see if there are any nursing mothers that might take this baby as her own until he is old enough to bring home. Any encouraging words for me? Advice? I have other animals and they are curious about the baby but are not too interested. :)
