How do I report an abusive private message from a member?

I've looked for this on Y!A but can't find it.

Is it possible to report abusive private messages from a member??? I rec'd two of them today.

TIA!

Update:

EDITED FOR DAD:

I rec'd them through the Y!A link from my profile. I'd answered the person's question and then they chose to slam me in two private messages.

That occasionally happens to me also. If I'm in a good mood when I get the slam, I 'mess' with the sender, otherwise I just block 'em.

    It's easier that way.

I find the "Customer, we don't Care" people to be sluggish and unresponsive, but the Yahoo Answers Team much better.

Forward each abusive email you get through this site to that address.

They do NOT want people verbally abusing each other, and will either suspend or ban the abuser.

Well, it looks like you've got your answer. Thank you :o) for asking the question though, I've wondered that myself. One time I even got threats... of course its unlikely the person could carry them out since they don't know where I live, but I was still bothered by getting the message.

    Hi Mom.

Thank you for taking this matter to us.

Unfortunately, you never provided enough information, such as how you received the private message.

If you received the message VIA Email, then please forward the Email to answers-abuse@cc.yahoo-inc.com

I promise Customer Care will investigate the issue and take the appropriate action.

Do not forget to write the reason ( s) you are reporting the offender.

    Have a wonderful day.

You got the info you were looking for, but I would also block that user. I've had to do it with a certain someone before & it worked for me. Good luck! No one deserves that! Hope you get your problem resolved! :)

FORWARD the ENTIRE email directly to the team at y_answrs_team@yahoo.com (missing 'e' is deliberate) with an explanation of what is going on.
