HI there...any pet enzyme product recommended which works by breaking down urine proteins by thoroughly soaking the areas affected and allowing to air dry. Repeated applications are necessary for heavily soiled areas. Severely affected areas will require extra solution so consider buying the Gallon size to achieve the results.

Another product to consider is called Nature's Miracle Just for Cats: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productI...

We've tested nearly all enzyme neutralizers available in the marketplace for our exotic cats which have stronger urine than domestic cats and found that Nature's Miracle Just for Cats has always worked the best

I found a product through my vet called Urine-off - you can also buy it online. It works better than anything else I've found - including everything in the pet store and Nature's Miracle which a lot of people like but I don't think works very well.

It got me through housebreaking two puppies, a cat with kidney failure and the urine on my sofa from an unknown critter that peed on it while it was in storage during a remodel (I'd have gotten rid of the sofa if it hadn't). Awesome stuff.

<>< Odors out is supposed to work. Also I found this awhile back for getting cat urine out of carpet. I should mention that I tried it and it worked pretty darn well for me. good luck:

This odor-removing recipe calls for vinegar, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and dish detergent. These are all easily available at your local grocery store.

First, wet the carpet with warm water and blot up with towels several times to dilute and remove as much urine as possible.

Next, wet the area with a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water. Make sure it is nice and wet, penetrating the fibers down the bottom. Allow it to air dry. The acidity of the vinegar will neutralize the ammonia in the cat urine. It will NOT remove all the odor, however.

When it's mostly dry, apply a good deal of baking soda over the affected area and drench it with hydrogen peroxide mixed with a very little bit of dish detergent. Work it with your fingers to dissolve the baking soda and work it down into the carpet. Allow it to air dry.

This worked like a charm for me. There were a couple of small spots that had a little bit of urine odor left, but most of the area treated was quite odor-free, so I reapplied baking soda and peroxide to the recalcitrant spots and the second application worked.

Lastly, to get rid of the white residue of baking soda in the carpet and whatever soap was there, I applied hot water and blotted it up with a towel.

I tried this because I originally had heard it worked to remove skunk odor. I was desperate. I had tried Nature's Miracle (no use) and Zep Odor Control (also not much good). IT WORKED!

One of the best products to buy is Arm and Hammer's Carpet & Fabric Pet Fresh Spray.I have several cats and it really is good.Another homemade remedy is vinegar and hot water.Mix one third vinegar to two thirds water and wash the area with it.It will smell for a few minutes and then disappear. The cats won't go back to that spot after using it.
