Calling out all GREEN BAY fans??
Ok, I've read what many of you are saying after this game, and I am disgusted to see that many of you are calling out favre to retire. Do you REALLY want Rodgers leading this group of young guys to the playoffs next year? Anyone who does clearly hopped the bandwagon this year and should probably go back to their own team. Seriously, I realize the pick in overtime was his fault, but you're asking for one of the best ever to retire because of that?
Honestly, where are the real packer fans that were on here before we lost?

Wow, did we all watch the same game, it was the the play calling that cost us the game. Did we even run it in the 4th quarter at all? Everyone says that it is Favre's fault for the pick, but they should never have been in that position, but for some reason, every time we stopped the Giants we came out passing, it seems like they didn't even give a thought to running the ball. And worst of all, when we passed it, we always tried to do some screen play that obviously wasn't there the entire game, but we still kept doing that, and kept losing yards.
The Giants did NOT win that game, the Packers LOST it.
Source(s): The stat that represents why we lost the game: Packers: 1 running play in the fourth quarter. But I still hope Favre comes back next year and gives it another shot. 16 Years a Packer fan, every single one enjoyed with Brett Favre - Missy MLv 41 decade ago
I think anyone who is calling for Favre to retire is a maniac...
If Favre woulda completed the pass and it would have lead to a TD... he'd be a hero.. now that he made a mistake he's let's see what I've heard so far...
choker... old... over rated... sucks...
Yea... Well don't forget that that old over rated sucky choker is also a 3 time MVP a super bowl champ and holds how many records... Just yesterday you were worshiping the ground he walks on and today you can say these things...
Wow I'm ashamed...
This is the long and short of the game we just all saw....
giants had one heck of a defense... Eli played his A game... Harris couldn't hold it on his own and McCarthy choose not to help him out... and it was an overall great match up... one of the greatest games I have ever watched... The reason it was so low and so close was because both teams were so comparible and did such a good job... everyone played there best and quite frankly that game could have gone either way... The giants won and from a packer fan I say great job NY! That was one heck of a game and you took it from us... best of luck to you in the SB, and I know you can take NE!
As for you "Packer fans" that can't stand by you team and see the game for what it really was... find a different team.. we don't want you!

I would say Favre is much better than anything they have. It's not like he made a mistake from being too old or anything. He made a lot of good throws tonight and made a few poor decisions. He has been making these mistakes his entire career. I would love to see Favre return especially since this was the most talent he had and there is only one free agent (Corey Williams). The Packers should be an immediate contender for next year.
Favre please come back, I know you are still having fun!

I'm a Vikings fan and never rooted for the Packers this year. But I do think Favre should retire. Rogers has been waiting for too long. He needs a chance to start playing with this young team so they can be good in a couple of years. I just don't think Favre has anything left up his sleeve.

I agree. It's not all Favre's fault. Anybody who is saying that is not a true Packers fan. I definitely think Favre should stay. As Mccarthy said, this year was a year of progress. I truly think that we will have a great season next year, and Favre will be needed to help that.

No.. If Favre wants to comeback that's ok with me.. and I don't think Favre is too blame for losing, he has carry this team on his shoulder through out season, without him they would not be in the playoff.. And If Brett Favre wants to retire I wlll continue support the packers, though they will struggle for couple years..

I'm NOT calling for his retirement... I'm calling for an evaluation of his decision making... As the LEADER of the Packers... He OWES it to his TEAM and to the FANS to do better than a game ending INT in overtime... thats a fact JACK...
I'm mad as hell that Brett Favre decided to play the Cajun Gambler and throw an ill advised pass instead of just throwing it away... Why? Why one game out of the Super Bowl would you try to get away with one like that? WTF?
I don't think he should retire... I do think he owes an apology to everyone...

Hey, i dont wanna see Favre go. hes a great asset to his team and i think hes still got at least one...maybe 2 seasons left in him. And picks are a part of the game...on both sides of the ball the giants outplayed us..theres no way around that. but its not fair to favre to put all the blame onto him

Dude I love Brett Favre and even though I'm not a Packers fan I feel bad for you guys becase Favre BLEW IT.
He turned back into the irresponsible gunslinger he always is and it cost the Packers a trip to AZ.

It's a repeat all over again. First it was the Dallas fans vs. the Giants fans. Now it's the Packer fans vs Giants fans. The Giants fans are 2 and 0, will they beat the Pat fans? Probably not because the Pat fans aren't as bad as the Giants fans. I believe the Pat fans will shut up the Giants fans come the Superbowl.
