How is decided that a certain number of superdelegates go to a particular presidential candidate in a primary?
I am just wondering because it looks like it is not decided by the actual election which only determines the number of delegates and not superdelegates.

Superdelegates are people who are admitted as delegates because of the offices they hold, either public offices or party offices. They aren't assigned to the candidate who wins their home state, or to any candidate. They decide themselves who they want to vote for.
The Democrats have more superdelegates than the Republicans, and there's a good chance that they will ultimately decide whether Hillary or Obama is the nominee.
