If she hasn't be spayed, then you should get this done immediately cause her howling might be a sign of her being in heat. She is marking her territory which generally female doesn't do as much as female but it still occurs..

If she has been spayed, it could be UTI and her howling can be a sign of pain. Check her butt to see if it's also raw. If so, she may have an impacted glands. You will need to take her to the vet ASAP.

  • Your is howling because she is in heat and she's spraying not peeing. My cat is in heat too. That's what they do. Some cats don't spray when their in heat. And on rare occasions can go into silent heat. That's the my cat used to be until she had kittens last year. Now she howls just like your cat. Get her spayed that's the only way it will stop.

Are you particular the vet gave him a clean invoice of wellbeing and that this substitute into no longer a urinary an infection? Blood exams could tell approximately kidney function, no longer approximately an infection contained in the bladder. A try of the urine determines this. If he's obvious on the two counts, get a 2nd container and fill it with sandbox sand. NO cat bypasses peeing in sand. in case you switched litters or the muddle has a stable physique spray smell as smell administration--that places a spectacular style of cats off of making use of the container. If the container is roofed a spectacular style of cats refuse to apply it, feeling trapped interior. And examine with the human beings contained in the abode, did absolutely everyone think of it substitute into 'humorous' to scare the cat out of his container whilst he substitute into attempting to apply it? The cat does not evaluate the container secure anymore. extra advantageous than one cat has switched pee/poop alternatives because of the fact some fool theory it substitute into humorous to scare the cat. have been the throw carpets new? The plastic rug backing on maximum small carpets has a chemical smell t it that an undesirable lot of dogs and cats interpret as 'urine'.

The cat may have a blockage. Call the vet. It sounds like an infection. I have dealt with that before and your cat needs an anti biotic. The cat is at risk of dying if not treated. If you love the cat, go to the vet.

Sounds like she has kidney stones or a bladder infection.

    Take her to the vet.

Female cats do not usually urinate everywhere when in heat.

That is more a trait of un-neutered males.

The noise of a female cat in heat sounds very much like a baby crying, rather than howls of pain.

She is probably in heat and she will finish in a little while but come back into heat within 2 weeks and continue that cycle until she is bred. You need to get her spayed asap, you will have no peace until you do!
