Would you pay for someone to throw your child's birthday pary?
Services provided: printed invites, food, drinks, cake, party favors, printed thank you notes, a puppet show or equal entertainment, a treasure hunt and complete set up and break down.
Parents get to relax, and just sign over the duties for close to the same price it would have cost them to throw it themselves without the worry, stress or hassle.

After all the birthday parties I've done for my kids.......yes. If I had the extra cash, I would. I think that would have been a great idea for my 6 year old's last birthday party since I was about 37 weeks pregnant and birthday parties at my house are always stressfull and filled with a lot of little kids and running around.

YES! I have 5 kids. I used to always throw thier parties on a shoe string budget on my own. However, I recently started taking my kids to a local place that does all that - and what a nice experience it is! It is also a great value for me because the kids end up with all sorts of free passes to the local water park, mini golfing, race track, etc.
I pay about the same amount of money, work 100% less, and get way more in return. No brainer for me.

Personally, no I wouldn't unless it was an extra special birthday like a 13th or sweet 16, which would include many more guests than the "average" birthday party.
OTOH I can imagine that parents of multiples would greatly appreciate such a service!

No, I wouldn't. Planning the party is at least half the fun! I love picking everything out, getting everything ready and decorating.
Letting someone else do it says, "I don't feel like putting any effort into your birthday, so I'll just let someone else handle it so that I don't have to be bothered". (personal opinion) Its the day my child was born. I want to be as involved as possible in the celebrations!
For people who aren't good at that kind of stuff, then hiring someone would be more practical for them. Its just not for me.

We've been to lots of parties like this, and they are usually very well done.
It's often a matter of time vs. money. If you have the money and little time, it's a great way to provide a nice party without spending a lot of time. If you're home and money is tight, we've been to dozens of beautiful, simple parties in peoples homes.
Good luck to you!

Of course! Your presence is needed at the party.
My parties for my son usually entailed me running around like a chicken with my head cut off... not really having enough fun, not really making the party great either.. just fragmented unfocused random smiles and running around where my friends would ask concerned throughtout.. "Carole, do you need some help?".

We don't really have birthday parties. We just go do something fun as a family. If I were interested in having a party, I might go that route because party planning is not my strong suit.

If you have the money, go for it! Personally I, as a child would feel more touched by the fact that My mom personally threw me a party she planned and decorated for!

if i had the money, hell yeah! There are plenty of people who do have the money and will pay for it. I am not one of those people so i have to do it the old fashon way, but yeas i would if i could
