"We do not need more knowledge, but more wisdom.....

wisdom comes from our own attention....."

Buddha

Update:

I propose that it is possible to exist in Unity, collectively, and as individuals at the same time.....all is in movement at all times, so all is impermenent, as well as unique....

I'm going to ignore your initial Q and address the details and the second Q.

    "to what?"

    To the implications.

Go back to his reference to knowledge...he's not saying we need no knowledge...he's saying we have enough knowledge and we need more wisdom...practical knowledge...knowledge in practice...

Wisdom comes from our attention in the sense that we need to explore the implications of the knowledge we have right now...in order to break through to the next larger perspective of self and life, etc...it's all about the arts of focusing, noticing, attending, sensing...inner and outer...using our deepest intuitions (true Mysticism) alongside our razor sharp higher intellect and reason and logic...functions of consciousness...deliberate perception...expansion or contraction.

We are not our consciousness...consciousness is a perceiving attribute...it can be used as a microscope, a telescope, a magnifying glass...a bubble of perception...antenna, radar, sonar.

As someone noted, your question isn't very clear. But it seems as though you're asking this: "When we give our attention, to what do we give it?"

The Buddha taught that we must give our attention to the function of our mind. Meditation provides the means to do this.

When we practice Buddhist meditation, we begin to perceive the ongoing stream of storytelling that makes up our mental states. These stories contain our fears, desires, angers, hopes, habits, and everything else that mind can produce.

This storytelling reinforces our constant self-concern. And self-concern produces suffering.

But something interesting happens when we give our attention to mind. Our consciousness begins to transform from self-concern toward a concern for the well-being of others. And suffering turns to compassionate joy.

As this occurs, our lives become more radiant -- because we become generous, compassionate, wise, and creative.

confident, by ability of killing my morality. using fact, Morality has limited all the juice and potential of existence to the slender confines of her techniques. it won't be in a position to pass there, so she extremely has develop right into a dried up previous prune. Her finished way is extremely appropriate and stiff and severe, and she or he's often waiting to verify each subject as black and white, like the jewel she wears round her neck. The Queen of Clouds lurks interior the minds of all individuals who've been noted with the inflexible innovations of good and undesirable, sinful and virtuous, suitable and unacceptable, ethical and immoral. it is considerable to bear in techniques that those varieties of judgements of the techniques are in simple terms products of our conditioning. And no be counted if our judgments are utilized to ourselves or to others, they shop us from experiencing the sweetness and godliness that lies interior of. purely as quickly as we harm throughout the time of the cage of our conditioning and attain the certainty of our own hearts will we start to verify existence because it extremely is. And my coronary heart revealed that i'm no longer something yet a non everlasting customer on the earth searching for certainty interior of. God Bless

Ego is the root cause of our individuality. Witnessing with razor sharp awareness ego gets diluted and finally settles down to it's true level, wherein we become the individual unit for the Whole.

Individually - with time, patience, meditation and an open mind.

Collectively...sadly I don't think this will ever happen. Man is too much of a beast to evolve to collective awareness.

Kudos to Innerpeacemom...she hit the nail on the head (and beat me to it, but then we're all one, are we not?)...attention to What Is, recognition of others as ourselves, acknowledging Light radiating in all ones and all things, living in the Now, releasing judgment and accepting as perfect All That Is...It Is What It Is and That Is All It Is. So Be It...

"Praise be to the name of God forever and ever. Power and wisdom are His. He changes times and seasons, He sets up kings and deposes them, He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning." Daniel

He gives wisdom - - it's not about us - but about Him who made us in His image and came to show us His love and died for us to atone for our sins. We don't need to die to be a part of Heaven, Christ died to give us heaven here on earth as He gives us His Holy Spirit to be with us always.

Wisdom does not come from our own attention. If you want to break through your own "radiance", humble yourself before our God in Heaven - and repent of your selfishness.

How about honoring the gifts and loans others have provided to us, maintaining connection with who they truly are, and manifesting gratitude in return and repayment?

By recognizing the God or Goddess in others. Shiva knows Shakti, Shakti knows Shiva, the dance is very beautiful. : )
