Edited Answer can't be submitted?

I've been trying to edit one of my answers. The "edit" and "preview" parts are fine, but when I click on the "Submit" button, answers hangs around for a while and then returns a blank page.

The Answer hasn't been updated.

I'd understand it that blasted error 999 page came up, but absolutely nothing, no error, nothing!

Thanks Jazmin - I was hoping someone would post the link to the "Suggestions Board".

Update 2:

Repeated "back" and re-Submit has exactly the same result. Quitting that edit and starting again has the same result.

Update 3:

No, I wasn't adding a link - I know all about the 999 Error. I was just adding extra text.

Update 4:

Dory - you get Error 999 when Yahoo! is censoring one or more of your links. Just split the link with a space or two, if necessary split the link onto more than one line so it can be copied.

    I had the same thing yesterday. I kept getting the 999 error. Tried again this morning and still getting it.

    Edit, I just tried it with a link and it worked fine just now. (exactly the same way I had done it before)

    Are the questions or edits in which your trying to add a link? Every so often, a glitch happens that disallows users to submit an answer with a link either in the answer space or the sources field. Try submitting without any webpages and see what happens, it should work now.

    Could have something to do with the way the page loads. I have this happen sometimes and then have to hit the "Back" button and try again.

    I would also recommend reporting this to the Yahoo Answers Team. They have asked that if we notice anything odd with the site to please post about it to the Suggestions Board.

    Either its your connection or its a problem with yahoo answers.

    I noticed that Edit my profile button vanished also from my profile page today.

    There must be a glitch because that happened to me yesterday when i tried to edit my answer, the second time i tried it worked, if the problem continues you can report it on the forum.
