Was Hillary forced into the Four State Pledge?
Hillary was the last candidate to sign the pledge, and the one with the most to loose. Up until the last minute, it looked like she might reject the deal, but that would have been very risky. Once the DNC set up this situation, Hillary greatly risked damaging her chances in the four states who were demanding this pledge, and that would have essentially been political suicide, so basicly she had to sign a deal the might turn out to cost her the nomination.
Had Florida and Michigan been counted, both states whose demographics favor Hillary, while S. Carolina very much favored Obama, Hillary would have gone into super Tuesday with all the momentum, instead of Obama, and this primary most likely would have already been over, with Hillary winning heavily on super Tuesday.
In my opinion the fix was in, and I personally am very unhappy with this situation created by the DNC.

It's all BS. Hillary won both states fair and square and now the Obamladites are crying about it. Just because your guy felt that the people of MI and FL weren't important enough to put his name on the ballot, doesn't mean he gets a do-over. If he ever gets our asses kicked on the battlefield, I can pretty much guarantee that our enemy won't give him a do-over. And as for HOOOOWAAAAAAAAARD Dean, he needs to pull his head out of his ***, give Hillary the delegates she won, and stop making FL into a repeat of the debacle it was in 2000.

I truly have no idea if you are grossly uninformed or just obfuscating. Trust me when I say that neither is good! I would just like to know which it is. Consider a few facts, friend: 1. When the Pilgrims (as in RELIGIOUS Pilgrims) landed on US shores, they came here with the expressed intent to "advance the kingdom of God." I would guess that you don't know that. Sure, EVERYONE knows that they wanted religious freedom, but it was WAY more than that! Any Catholics in the US, they thought would go to one state, just as the Jews might go to another, and the Lutherans to another, and so on. They truly saw this union as being a bunch of Christian and Jewish states! Their purpose was to ADVANCE THE KINGDOM OF GOD! 2. They infused God into every aspect of their lives, personal and public alike. God was in the school curriculum, in government, in day to day life ... EVERYWHERE! 3. You know good and well that all the talk of "separation of church and state" is NOT in the Constitution! Or if you don't know it, you should! Jefferson mentioned it in a LETTER! And it's been pounced on by the secular progressive crowd. 4. At one time, 98 percent of all Americans were Christian or Jewish. That number is in ... decline, as you secularists continue to complain your way into our lives. So, it is utterly ridiculous to suggest that Christianity is trying to get more into government and more into public life. We were EVERYWHERE once upon a time! Our founders had no problem with that! We've been driven from schools, public forums, etc. WHAT are you talking about us trying to "get in" or otherwise encroach upon these areas??? 5. When our Constitution speaks of Congress shall make no laws respecting religion, that means that can't write ANY law either for or against ... a specific religion. Again, you have to understand the context in which that wrote that! They were FORCED to worship as the Roman Catholics worship. They said, "Not here!" So, there will be no federally mandated religion! Although, they absolutely thought there would be state religions; e.g., Utah and Mormonism. So, what was long considered a Constitutional protection for freedom of religion has been twisted and bastardized by you and your ilk to force it to read (quite dishonestly, I might add): Freedom from religion. Again, where is the evidence ... ANY EVIDENCE ... that these Christians and Jews came to America to be free from religion? I'll say it again: In their early visions of society, they placed God ... EVERYWHERE! Libraries contained Bibles and religious writings, God was taught in school, they had preachers in Congress, they prayed before political meetings, and yes, they lived to advance God's kingdom. Those people were of the same mind as you? Those people intended for their to be freedom from religion? You understand ... promoting "God" is NOT promoting ... religion, right? That's promoting ... FAITH! Religion is to worship God in a specific way as the Methodists, the Lutherans, the Catholics, the Mormons, the Jehova Witnesses, the Muslims, the Jews, or whoever. There is a HUGE difference between promoting God and faith and promoting a religion. There's a HUGE difference between promoting God and faith and MANDATING or LEGISLATING a religion. When our currency says, "In God We Trust," it does NOT say that it's the Christian God, let alone the God of the Mormons versus the Catholics versus the Protestants, etc. Get your facts straight you uninformed atheist.

You are forgeting that Hillary still maintained an across the board 20+ point advantage when the decision was made to srip both FL and MI of the delegates, as well as when the candidates made the pledge not to campaign, and remove their name from the ballott in Michigan.
I support a redo of both parties primary, however I do not feel that it should be paid for by the DNC.

If Hillary can't stand up to the DNC, she's not fit to lead this country. If she really felt that the pledge was wrong, she should have stepped up like a leader, rather than making excuses now.

It is an outrage for the Fl and MI voters to be excluded for the primary vote. The DNC made a big mistake on this.

The delegates in Florida and Michigan are Clintons, they should be awarded.

Either way, the DNC brought this on themselves.

All I know is that Obama doesn't even do the Pledge all the time (to our flag).
