Awesome Norwegian Forest Cat (pic)?

What a gorgeous girl! And 21 pounds! My Ragdoll is a big boy, too, but at only 2 and-a-half he hasn't quite finished growing yet and he weighs almost 16 pounds. Wowee--what a pretty cat she is!

What a gorgeous cat! I've never had a cat that big but I knew a girl who had a cat that weighed in at 32 lbs. I thought she was exaggerating until I saw the cat. It was huge-I mean it was toooo fat. So much so that the poor thing could not put it's head down when laying on it's side. I felt sorry for the cat and lost respect for her when I saw him because I feel she abused the cat by allowing him to get that fat.

Your mother in laws cat is really pretty though.

Fluffy is gorgeous!!! I love big cats, they always seem to be pretty easy going. I had a huge cat named Bubba, who passed a few years ago. He was a black with some white (very stylish; black tux, white shirt, lol) DLH, & weighed 23 lbs. He was so sweet, he even became a "foster mom" for his new sister, Halley. He was definitely a lot of cat! He lived for 19 yrs, & I miss him so much. Fluffy is so beautifu, & I love the way her front legs look like she has one sock that has fallen down, lol! I'm (passively) looking for another big guy or girl from a shelter, & hoping to find a Maine Cooncat. I've always thought they were so awesome, & absolutely stunning. Awwww...Fluffy is so amazingly beautiful. I know that certain breeds of cats can weigh in the 20 pound range, like Maine Coon cats.

I've personally not had a cat that weighed that much, and the most a cat of mine ever weighed was 12 pounds.

By the way, my first cat I ever had (when I was a child) was named Fluffy!

She is beautiful! I have never seen a cat that heavy. She weighs 10 pounds more than my Pomeranian!

i had a big orange tabby cat that was around 20 pounds. he was a big guy too. so sweet. he unfortunately passed on in July of 2006

My cat Dusty, who passed away a few years ago, was probably bigger than your mum-in-laws cat but its difficult to tell from a picture. My boy was enormous - his tail was as large as yard-broom ha ha ha! He wasn't any particular breed of cat, well, not that i knew of, but he was the prettiest cat i've ever seen - very 'chocolate box' kitty ha ha. When i learn to use my printer and my lap top properly ( doh ha ha ) i'll print some pics of him for you to compare. Saying that - your mum-in-law's cat is beautiful, very well groomed and happy looking! Thanks for sharing it with us,
