My family is the people that i love and i know will be there for me.

My relatives, like blood related, i consider my family despite how i feel abotu them i love them. i am close to the family on both my mom and dads side, i also have one sister, a half-sister, a niece, and a nephew. In my family we are all very close, my cousin had a baby and named my 18-year old sister the godmother(nanny), because her only brother was killed her little boy calls me his aunt as he would not have any without me.

Other than blood relatives i have a few very good friends who i love like my sisters, i consider them family as well. I also am pretty musch family with old family friends... like i know i can count on them as though they were my family, and id always be there for them.

ok glad u asked that. I have a neighbor who has alot of " adopteds" that I find odd, to have like that in my family but I am learning that not all " family" is related by blood ties. I have an older " brother" whom I have known since I was 17, and another I have known for over 14 years, and we are not related at all. I have tow each of sisters and brothers that are related to me and we all do not see each other. Come to think of it i have not seen ANY blood or non-blood members in over 10 years!

A group of people who share a special connection. It doesn't have to be blood related. I have several sets of families, who are all very different. Some are relatives, but I live with my boyfriend's grandparents, and I call them Grandma and Grandpa, just like my boyfriend. His family is my family too. There is also a lady that doesn't have any relatives left, but is pretty good friends with my boyfriend's grandma, and she is present at all our family gatherings. Some people are "family" simply because of their blood, but otherwise, it doesn't really matter who they are, as long as you're close to them.

My own family, extended family of in laws and my church family of friends. Not necessary to have blood ties.

I have a HUGE mix family. Both parents are divorced and re-married as have my grandparents on my mom's side. I'm also getting married and have added his family into mine. So I would say, just in my close family, I have well over 50.
