If you have a good quality white gold ring it will not be necessary to have it re rhodiumed on an annual basis. White gold is not yellow gold coated in rhodium. There are varying qualities of white gold with their whiteness dictated by the metals they are alloyed with (in Europe generally platinum and palladium and Nickel in th USA). Here is a link with some information on white gold (in a comparison article with platinum), http://www.wightmangoldsmiths.co.uk/platcomp.htm
To get the colour back first i would recomend cleaning the piece, here is a guide on how to best do this, http://www.wightmangoldsmiths.co.uk/jewellery%20cl... do not using anything abrasive such as toothpaste (for more information on caring for jewellery and giving do's and don't here is an article, http://www.wightmangoldsmiths.co.uk/care.htm).
If cleaning does not work then you will have to have the piece re-rhodiumed.
My advice to you is go to a respectable local goldsmith or jeweller. Generally they will be able to give you the best advice.
I hope this is useful to you.

There is no such thing as White Gold. It's just Yellow Gold that has been Rhodium Plated. That's how White Gold is made. It will go yellow after a while, because of daily wear and tear, skin acidity, perfumes on the skin, etc...
The next best thing is to take it to a jeweler and get it Rhodium plated again. It will have to be done from time to time for it to be called White Gold .
