If I am understanding correctly, you asked a question and were not satisfied with the answers gave. You then "Voted" no best answer.

If I am correct, then yes. Voting for no best answer will have the question automatically deleted and you should suspect your 5 points return back to your account for asking the question.

P.S. If the spammer was chosen as best answer by the Community, then that could also be the reason your question was removed, hence you reported the spammer for spamming.

When a best answer is removed for violating the Answers property, the associated question is also removed. In this case, you won't be notified VIA Email of such removal.

Oh really? I didn't actually know that it was 3 months of the question not receiving a best answer and then it automatically deletes itself.

your time is up and no one is allowed to answer. if no one uses the question in 3 months it automatically deletes.
