Can you please give me quite alot of reasons why Buddhists use Shrines (Statues of the Buddha)?

Buddhists use Shrines in their gardens and temples but why?

I want to finish my project for tomorrow. Dis is urgent plz help...

    Buddhists use statues of the Buddha and bodhisattvas to:

    - Remind themselves of the Buddha Nature and enlightened energy that is inherent within each person

    - Honor the historical founder of Buddhism, Shakyamuni Buddha

    - Remind themselves that Buddha was a real human, no different than any of us

    - Enjoy the presence of a friendly face
