Just like any pet (or child) they can become too spoiled and that isn't good for you or your cat. You need to put the cat outside the bedroom at night on a nice soft pillow. Teach the cat that this pillow is his/her bed. After awhile the cat will know his/her bed and prefer it.

You might want to start with a pillow case that you have slept on many nights - just so that it will have your scent. It might make it easier for you both.

Do not allow the cat on your bed in the day time either - keep him/her out of your room if possible and if you find the cat on your bed - spritz him/her with water every time. The cat will start getting the message and stop wanting your bed even if you're in it!

Good Luck - Cats do NOT make good bed fellows - they are too pushy

Well, she is just trying to be affectionate. You can make a bed for her by taking a cardboard box,and cutting an opening for her.Make sure the box and opening are big enough for her!Put some of her favorite blankets in there to make a bed.Maybe some of your old blankets that still have your scent will work great.

She is clawing because she thinks of you as momma and this is a nursing instinct. I have a 12 year old cat that i think was probably weaned too early - he does the same thing. I hold his paws and pet his head. Sometimes I just stick him between my feet. When it hurts, say OW OW OW - the OW part of Meow means the "cut it out." I saw that on a cat documentary on BBC a while back.

You should buy a little cotton bed for your cat to sleep in with you. That way she probably won't move up to scratch you.

My cat used to do this, but i think they grow out of it eventualy.

Our cat is declawed so maybe that stopped it i dont know.

But if you dont wnat to declaw it buy it a nice bed.

I wish my cat sleept with me so ur kinda lucky there, xD

My cat does the same thing so what I suggest is get a dog kennel and see if she likes it

Play with her before bedtime, wear her out so she sleeps when you do, obviously she wants to play, once she is worn out, give her warm milk before bedtime.

Tap her on the nose when she starts to claw you. If that doesn't work, flick her on the nose.
