Does anyone realize that it actually takes MORE faith to deny the existence of God than to accept it?

Maybe that is why so many Athiest spend so much time on R&S bashing Christians....because they are desperatly searching for confirmation from others that believing in nothing is ok and constantly denying that which in their hearts they know is true. Are you trying to prove the non-existence of God to believers, or to yourselves? I believe in My loving God and savior Jesus Christ and I will not back down. Christians, please pray for the lost.

It doesn't take more faith, just the knowledge that your god is just as unbelievable as the thousands that have preceded him.

Does it take faith for you to decide that Allah isn't the true god?

There is no faith involved in "denying God', which is an inaccurate statement. Athiests do not deny God". Atheists do not believe in A God, or gods. Believers in god are the ones acting on faith, given that they can only site ancient texts written by dozens of people over several centuries, and usually not written at the time of the events they allege to depict. I feel no more need to "disprove" God, than I do the need to disprove leprachauns, invisible pink unicorns, or Chtulu. And believers have yet to offer up convincing, objective evidence of the existence of their diety or dieties. (this applies not only to christians, note. Hindus and other religions make similiar claims about the powers of their gods). So, you're welcome to believe. But its both arrogant and silly for you to pray for non believers. If God has a Plan, after all (check out Revelation and the whole Armageddon thing) he's not likely to change that plan just for you. You are attempting to influence an omnipotent Being to submit to your will with the prayers.

It is not the responsibility of the unbeliever to prove that the fantasies of others are not real.

It is the duty of the holder of the fantasy to demonstrate the factual nature thereof.

Keep on believing in your delusion if you want to. I don't care. If you're so secure with your beliefs why get riled up over what atheists think?

Absolutely it does. I don't think putting them down, and calling their beliefs faith when they claim to have no faith(whether it is or not) is going to help though. That's not what Jesus did.

Why would you say that it takes more faith not to believe? From personal experience I can honestly say that it does not.

    You're right.
