leadership decisions?

As a group leader, I always attempt to maintain an environment which is conducive to cooperation between team members and to free wheeling transference of ideas and concepts, no matter how radical or outside of the mainstream.

To me, people perform their best when they are not afraid to make mistakes. In fact, if any team member doesn't make a few mistakes during the year, my opinion is that he is not trying hard enough.

And, I always completely delegate the details of any task that I assign. I may set some high level mandates and ultimate goal sets, but I allow the team members to work out the details of the everyday work process.

If the members feel a sense of freedom and the ability to attack any problem in the manner that they perceive is best, their strengths will be displayed to the utmost.
