    The Withered Fig Tree

" 20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!"

22 "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. 23 "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."

    [Mark 11:20-25, New International Version]

    ____

*Verse 22: Some translations read "Have the faith of God" or "have the God kind of faith."

Continue to call on Him. Continue growing in fatih.

    Blessings.

Read the new testament. Perhaps Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John so you can learn about your savior. If you have trouble understanding it, join a small Bible study group-they help a lot. Also, pray as often as you can-it's the way to get closer to God, develop a deeper relationship with him, and to learn what his purpose is for you.

yeah, go take a walk in the desert. Bring lots of water and safety equipment. Don't get lost or hurt. Just lay there at night and think about all you can. Chain thought usually help me. One thought leads to another. For instance. Think about why innocent children starve to death in Africa. Then think about Gods plan, and how he loves is. Ask yourself questions basically. If God has a divine plan, why do we bother with prayer? Isn't that getting in the way of his divine plan. A plan is a plan, and if it's divine then it's insulting to disrupt it by thinking your idea is better or evne worthy? Stuff like that. Just be alone and think.

To walk in faith is to fully trust God and to pursue His will for your life. The bible tells us to walk by faith and not by sight.(2 Corinthians 5:7). If we walk by sight rather than faith we may try to avoid the obstacles that God has placed in front of us. We are not in authority, God is and he choses the path we take. By putting faith in God we can overcome obstacles that are in sight and learn why God has put them in our life.

You don't need religion for proof that there is a God*. No random unconscious atoms that popped out of nothing, came together to form life, and conscious human beings. *God is eternal, It always was, and is the energy* that created everything that Is.

Read first the Gospel of John, then the epistles of Ephesians and James, then all the rest of the New Testament. But after you've finished it, read the Old Testament, and you'll be amazed by it

The mere act of turning ones heart to God and seeking help from Him is, in and of itself, the greatest, most perfect and selfless act that one can undertake. Insofar as "the highest and last end of all learning is the recognition of Him Who is the Object of all knowledge." Thus it is incumbent upon all the peoples of the earth to investigate, with a pure and open heart, unfettered by the dust of this world, the Divine Reality and put their trust in Him, that haply He may, pursuant to the dispensation of providence, guide them to the Throne of His all encompassing bounty and favor.

Even as the Prophets of old have said, as recorded in His most holy and perspicuous book, "I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications, because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live." Therefore, call upon the Lord your God, and hasten to the throne of His Name, the All-Merciful.

It's something you have to figure out yourself.

Everyone has a different idea of who God is, and what he does for us.

I believe faith in God is something you find within yourself. I knew him before I was even told he existed, before I knew what a bible was or been to a church. So Idk.
