what is your favorite food network show and what shows would you like to come off air?

i like 30minute meals, iron chef,challenge, and unwrapped. i could do without Paula's home cooking. that show annoys me... and good eats.

My favorite shows are Good Eats, Iron Chef America, Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, Down Home with the Neelys and Throwdown. I absolutely turn the channel when Rachel Ray (30 Minute Meals), Giada DeLaurentiis and Sandra Lee (Semi-Homemade) are on because they are irritating to me. I wouldn't say their shows need to go but I can't watch them. I do think Rachel Ray has too many shows on Food Network but I know other people like her.

I love Good Eats with Alton Brown, Unwrapped with Marc Sommers <sp?>, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fiari and Throwdown with Bobby Flay. I also like Iron Chef America, Ace of Cakes and the Food Network Challenges but they can get rid of Down Home with the Neely's - I cannot stand how sickening sweet they are on camera. I am pretty much indifferent to Paula Deen and Rachael Ray. I am looking forward to the new show with Ted Allen - I forget the name off hand but it sounds interesting.

I would like to see them bring back something like the show they use to have - The Secret Life Of... and for a new show I would like to see one that teaches frugal cooking like the old Frugal Gourmet show from PBS that shows techniques that are easy for the home cook to learn and use from shopping, to storing of food to food preparation.

I like Diners Drive-In and Dives, Good Eats, Unwrapped and small doses of Ace of Cakes.

The Neely's, Paula "Stick of Butter" Dean, Sandra Lee and Bobby Flay make me want to throw the remote through the tv.

I wish they would bring back the original Iron Chef that was entirely in Japanese.

I love Bobby Flay's Throwdown, I watch whenever it's on. Also Iron Chef America. I don't know what show I like least. I don't like Paula Deen at all. And I haven't seen this one but "How'd That Get on My Plate" has got to be the worst title of a show I've ever heard.

I like Bobby Flay and miss Mario Batali. I hate almost all of the new shows. The british pretty boy, the hispanic lady, the overweight black couple, the sassy black lady... wow, I'm starting to sound racist. These shows are bad though. I can't stand Paula Dean either, I'd love to see her go. And Sandra Lee is so awful; I'd like to stab a fork in my eye when she's on. I like Giada, and Dave Lieberman too.

Good Eats is the best. Rachel Ray, Giada diLaurentis, The Neely's and Ina Garten have GOT to go! Unwrapped is great too!
