lying and eyes?

they say that when someone lies his eyes goes to the left and when someone is trying to remember something his eyes goes to the right.BUT WHICH RIGHT AND LEFT??MY RIGHT OR HIS RIGHT OR MY LEFT OR HIS LEFT?????????????

    This is correct and it can be either side.

    Remember when President Clinton was on TV (Mona Lewinsky) and said: "I did not have sex with her" . . he looked away.
