Does your child swim naked in a small blow up pool?

I was allowing my 2 year old to swim naked in our blow up pool in my yard. My neighbor is offended by this. Never really thought someone would mind..........We were outside playing and he decided he wanted to swim so I took off his diaper and let him get in the pool.

    Little Boy Swimming Naked

Well, I don't have kids yet, but I would let them swim naked as long as it's a fairly private backyard. I don't understand why your neighbor is offended by this, but to keep peace it might be best to keep a diaper on him, or call your neighbor to warn him/her that you'll be outside with your child in the pool so the choice is up to them if they see your boy naked.

I don't have a 2 year old child but if I did my neighbor's opinions would in no way influence his use of the blow up pool in his yard.

I let my 10 year old daughter swim naked in the pool all the time. I find nothing wrong with that. she is even allowed to go naked in the house all the time. she even brings over three or four of her friends from school and we let all of them go swimming in the nude as well.

we don't have a blow up pool we have a regular in ground pool and I let my daughter swim naked sometimes it's really hot but I also have a fenced in back yard. and she's 3 ha ha. maybe I should stop but my neighbors have never noticed. she's your daughter and your neighbor needs to get over herself. you owe her no explanation

When my daughter was 1 I let her do the same. We don't really have a private back yard so we were in the front yard. I didn't let her run around the yard naked...she had to stay in the pool. Now she is 2 and I wouldn't let her at this point.

I have let my daughter do it before but I dont anymore. You hear so many stories of pedofiles and you never know who is lurking in your neighborhood. It is a sad fact, and you never want to think that it could happen in your neighborhood but you never know. Your neighbor being offended by it is a little rediculous, I wouldnt not do it because of her, but pedofiles scare me. There used to be a free website, now it costs, but if you are interested in finding out how many sex offenders and where they live in your area, go to www.familywatchdog.com. I did it when it was still free and it scared me to see just how many there were.

Upon searching I found a free website to locate sex offenders.

Yeah my boys have both done it before, especially if I forget to buy more swim diapers or if they removed it themselves. Nobody ever complained though because we are surrounded by people with kids that probably have done the same thing at some point.

You were in a backyard, perhaps fenced in, but definitely out of sight of random passersby, right?

If so, then that's fine. My kids used to be naked outside in our fenced yard all of the time, when they were little. No big deal.

If your neighbor could see, though and if s/he is uncomfortable seeing naked people (even children), then the polite thing to do is to not be naked where s/he can see you.
