Is it arrogant that the Y!A spell check only has American spelling?
For example the word litre and colour both come up as spelling errors.
There is a world beyond America Y!A.

It's not even all that accurate on US spelling - some people are saying it's suggesting vulgar words as correct spellings. Personally, my experience is that it suggests ludicrous alternatives like 'esk er' for 'asker'. It has yet to find a legitimate spelling error, much less suggest an appropriate fix. I don't think it's arrogance, I think it's idiocy.

Just hit ignore, douche. It's an American company. It's natural that they would use the laws of grammar governing their home country. Is it arrogant that Y!A spell check doesn't have the spelling of every word in every language the world over? I bet people trying to answer Y!A questions in Swahili are pretty angry.
