I did not want traditional wedding music played at my wedding ceremony. We were married in a church so I wanted it to be romantic and soft. My bridesmaids walked down to "Come What May" By Ewan Mcgregor and Nicole Kidman and I couldn't fathom the idea of walking down to "Here Comes The Bride" or "Pachabel Canon in D"..I walked down to "You are the Love of My Life" By Michael W. Smith and Jim Brickman. Beautiful song and had lots of meaning!

I walked down the aisle to "Unchained Melody." the theme from the movie"Ghost" by the Righteous Brothers and "Everything i do( I do it for you) the theme from Robin Hood, by Bryan Adams.

Source(s): Saw both movies and fell in love with the songs.

Lots of people choose Pachelbel's Canon for the bridal march, so you might want to check it out. It's a beautiful piece of music and easy to walk to.

Most likely Here and Now by Luther Vandross....can't decide if with words or instrumental.

Canon in D is so traditional. I'm thinking of going different

  • Led Zeppelin's The Rain Song played on aucoustic guitar by my brother.

I won't know until I start walking! My fiance is composing an original solo-piano piece for my processional, and I think he is going to keep it a secret, like my dress will be for him.

I'm pretty excited! He is a beautiful jazz musician and composer.
