Nope. No one's perfect. Even Obama would agree that he's made mistakes and is imperfect. The problem is that both sides use every little insignificant mistake and blow it way up out of ordinary to make it seem like the person is a hideous monster bent on destruction of all mankind.

The reason that Palin is being attacked so venomously is because she has beliefs that are totally against what the Left believes in. She believes that life is important to save, rather than flush down the drain. She has a an active belief in god, which makes people she's some religious zealot. She enjoys living in the wild outdoors of this world, and using its resources to make a happier life, and then she's called a gun-toting radical.

Even Obama has his religious moments. On his European trip, while at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, he placed a piece of paper with a prayer for guidance in the wall. He's gone to church for 20 years with Rev Wright, and this comment isn't against Rev Wright, it's that Obama WENT TO CHURCH for those 20 years, and still goes to church, and yet he's not painted as some religious radical. So the complaints about Palin are not so much as what she's done as what she stands for. It's a stance that half of America holds.

The Alaska Trooper scandal is just another nail in her coffin. However, I don't think it will dissuade some voters. I mean, there requires no investigation to figure out that she is against birth control education. Her stance is abstinence and it is obvious by her own children, this form of education does not work. It is also obvious that family is not important to her or she would be staying home and taking care of her downs syndrome baby. ( you can not pay someone to love your children like you should love them) These are two huge strikes against her and yet people are still saying they will vote for her.

Strengthening American families is important. Teaching birth control is also important. (Especially since the Republican party has such a firm stance against abortion and at the same time doesn't believe in federal assistance to those mothers who do get pregnant without any way of caring for them) 1 million abortions are performed annually and who is going to pay for them when they are born? Will the republican party sit back and watch them starve? We need to reduce the need for abortions by teaching birth control in schools. Teaching abstinence alone, doesn't work.

Palin is not up to the job of V.P. let alone President. (which is likely since McCain is not in the best of health)

I'll put all my objections to Palin aside and tell you why I'm not voting for her, I've watched her interview with ABC and last night with Katie Couric. She does not answer questions, it's always, "as Senator McCain always says". Katie finally said to her, "I'm going to ask you one more time". Katie asked the question and the answer was "I'll find one and bring it to you". Right, that's the person I want a heart beat away from being the president. They try hard not to let her interview because it's not just that she's bad at it, she simply doesn't know the answer to questions that someone in her position should know. My biggest objection is the she continues to lie about the bridge to nowhere. She took the money to build the bridge, said no thanks when everyone objected and then kept the money. If I hear one more time, "I told them, thanks but no thanks" it will just put the last nail in their coffin.

The polls go up and down all the time. This happens right up till the election. Currently she's bringing him down, later she may do or say something to bring him back up, or possibly further down. My money is on down, as the more we hear about her, the more I think she is not right for the position of VP.
