Do you think the World / US Economy will improve after the 08 Presidental Election?

Once we know who will be our next President, will the act of making a decision bring stability to the world economy? Personally, I think it will. I think the US is like a Great Ship being tossed around in the bay with out a rudder.

God Bless Our Country... Please Pray For our Great County. And the world.

Yes. If the past is any evidence of what the future holds we will become a healthier nation. The past shows that when the Dem's are in the white house our economy improves. If and when the dem's win, it will take more than a few months to correct what has taken place under the Bush Administration.

I doubt it. To me it seems Ron Paul would have been our last chance. He would've stopped all this government spending.

We spend billions and billions over seas, billions on the war on drugs, billions in Iraq, billions for helping other nations when we should be thinking about the ladies and fellas here at home that prop up this country.

Either McCain or Obama will win this election even though they're both for the same way we run things here at home. We need to cut drastic government spending REALLY quick if we want to see a slight blow in the coming depression. I mean major cut spending going to many departments of our government if we want to see some headway. This is why I am voting for third party. We need to abolish the federal reserve and many other parts of the government. We seriously are living beyond what we can afford. We have way WAY to much debt. And if we continue this type of living I doubt our children and grand children will be able to afford it without resorting to outright world war. And I don't mean world war I mean WORLD WAR (capitalized). This will effect every single nation so help us god.

The US economy will. It took Bush 6 years to bring us out of the mess Clinton left us in but it did happen and the same will be true this time. It might take McCain a while but it will come up. As for the rest of the world I could care less. They made their beds and now they can sleep in it.

    President McCain has already won.

What will happen to the US and world economy will most likely be decided before the elections, and definitely before the inauguration of the new president. Bush has to deal with this crisis. Unfortunately, he knows no more about the economy than McCain.

Habseligkeiten is stable; the US government has overthrown overy fifty distant places leaders simply by fact the top of WW2 on my own, meaning that with such an aggressive distant places coverage, each u . s . a . ought to take an activity interior the election of a clean president-it would desire to be their chief next on the hitlist. Julius Nyerere of Tanzania as quickly as reported that the entire international ought to get a vote interior the US presidential elections, and that i accept as true with him

Not if Obama is elected. He wants to vastly increase the size of government. That is a huge problem. Federal government agencies waste so much of our money through their inefficient processes, bloated budgets, lack of accountability, etc. If Obama is elected, we're in for a several years of economic woes. Obama, Pelosi and Reid - - the three stooges in action. Scares the hell out of me to think that there will not be any check on the liberal wacko policies they want to put in place. We seem always to be better off when there is a split in power between Dems and Republicans in the legislative and executive branches.

We as citizens need to take action and not rely so much on the Government.

The World needs to step up as well. All of us need to let go of differences and do what is right.

No matter who gets elected, the people need to stop being infatuated with their candidates as "rock stars" thinking they can do no wrong. We need to think for ourselves and hold these peoples feet to the fire to do the right thing.

Certainly. It's time for change, a new direction of sorts. Obama will be the one who will find ways to stabilize the international economy, which is already in bad shape as of now. I hope and pray he wins the election.

I assume your question is about "soon", "not so distant future".

No! Not right away in any case! It will get worse before it gets better. America will have to make some money first by combining producing with not spending... For the short term period, inflation will eat everything
