The man is a senator, don't you get it?

He wouldn't be the democratic nomination if he has terrorist ties of any kind. The democrats want to win people, and oh yeah the democrats don't like terrorists either. How can you honestly believe that Obama has anything to do with terrorism? DOn't you think the democratic party has access to google to? I am fairly certain there was a thorough background check done on the man before he wa even allowed to run for senator, the primaries, let alone the presidency. GROW UP. Why are you so gullible?

Update:

The Bush family "pal around" with bin Laden's family and wth the royals of Saudia Arabia and you want to talk about Obama knowing terroists?

I don't think he's a terrorist. He pals around with known terrorists which speaks to his judgment.

    Well said missus.

Mud slinging. Sarah Palin's a pig with lipstick with no moral fibre cos she has an unmarried pregnant teenager at home, and whose outfits cost too much, and Baraks an African black terrorist. (his father was kenyan - so daddy was actually british)

This is all coming from the country who TWICE elected a man who can press the big red button to end the world, and who cant even properly pronounce the word "nuclear". Sorry I got that wrong. He wasn't actually elected by the american populous the second time round did he. I think that the vote rigging was brilliant. I see they're flogging off Florida's botched machines as election memorabilia. Class.

Gullible is right. Unfortunately the world is too full of gullible people......

I would say that the Saudi Royals, and the most of Bin Laden's Family have absolutely hee hoo to do with Al Quaeda and terrorism. Bin Laden was rebuffed by the Saudi Military, after he suggested non muslim Saudi military operatives could not be trusted in combat. and publicly denounced Saudi Arabia's dependence on the US military. Bin Laden's criticism of the Saudi monarchy led that government to attempt to silence him. Osama's wife Umm Ali asked Osama for a divorce because she said that she "could not continue to live in an austere way and in hardship", as his extreme islamist beliefs moved him to act and dress entirely like the Prophet Mohammed.

    Homer for president.

Apparently you don't realize that to gain the nomination all he had to do was get Your vote in the primary, once he did that he was the Nominee. I have not looked at the requirements for running for the senate recently, however I do not recall passing a thorough background check being one of them last time I checked. Apparently the founding fathers gave us credit for having the sense not to elect someone who was on the shady side.

Personally I have not attributed terrorism to Obama, but his Tax Policy proposal is more of the same old Democratic Party socialism, redistribution of wealth, this makes the lower income recipients happy in the short term but does nothing to boost our economy while demonizing and penalizing corporations and buisinesses, essentially retrieving the "Tax Cuts" at the other end of the distribution chain, and yes I mean that You will pay any Tax levied on buisiness since they tend to pass costs along to the consumer in their products. that alone is enough to turn me off of him.

There are also a lot of other factors about him I find questionable if not downright dishonest I will attach links to some of the resources, read them and you decide. Take the time to follow up with the source links those articles are based on as well.

I have no real love for McCain in this election either, however he does seem to be the lesser of the two evils being presented, and he has a pretty good running mate.

    He's a Senator-

*Who does not support the American Flag

*Who will not show any form of respect while standing during the playing of the National Anthem

*Who would rather do away with most of the US Constitution

*Who feels that you should go to jail for murder if you shoot & kill someone that is in your own home that has already killed your children and is raping your wife

Don't want to believe this- go and check out his voting records in Illinois and as a Senator. All elected officials votes are a matter of public record and can be viewed online by anyone who wishes to see how the person voted on any issue.

Even if you did view his voting history- you would probably still say you are right and we are wrong---and you say WE are gullible. How naive is that now??

I don't think Obama is a terrorist or has terrorist intentions--however--his associations with bill ayers and the reverend wright--show an appalling lack of judgement for someone who wishes to represent the entire nation and not just his left leaning friends. His long association with rev wright is a very large concern. Further--he does not answer the question straight--the bill ayers question has three answers on record now--they changed as the press dug deeper--that concerns me. His tax plan concerns me--and it truly seems that most people simply don't understand--give a 500 rebate to a low income person you make rent for a month if your lucky. Rasing the tax rate from 44% to higher for the wealthy---well the guy who was just making it is now out of a job--because the wealthy guy just closed the plant, shipped jobs across the big pond, or layed people off. This isn't some pipe dream--any competnent economist will till you increasing taxes on people who pay the majority of the tax--will result in lay-offs, shut downs, and exportation of jobs overseas. Those billioniare guys who are getting a tax break (you know where they only pay 3/4 of a million in tax instead of a million)--the job that was avialable for that guy that made rent with his 500 rebate check and would have kept him employed--is now gone.

You people astound me at CHANGE CHANGE--cutting your nose off to spite your face is also change--just not good change. Any rational democrats should vote for McCain simply to put the breaks on a democraticly controlled congress---cause if you don't come this next year--tax and spend tax and spend--recession.

You make a good point. I would like to offer another take on the question of why everyone should "get" that there is nothing to the "terrorist" connection: Anyone who doesn't think the Clinton camp rolled that stone aside and looked under it with a microscope isn't as familiar with the Clintons as I am.

I respect and admire Hillary, and in some ways regret that this wasn't her time in the sun. Believe me, if he had a real connection, she would have made sure it was front page news, not just a "Well, you have an obligation to answer for your relationships" comments. That's what her analysis finally came down to. There was nothing of substance there, and they dropped it.

Republicans may not know who the ORIGINAL pit bull in lipstick was, but I do, and Sarah is a veritable card board cut out compared to the three dimentional determination and fire in Hillary's belly. I submit again that I respect and admire Hillary. I'm also glad that I am not running against her any time soon for ANYTHING.

Hey! I don't think it's fair to call people gullible just because they vote for the candidate who says he knows how to find Bin Laden and knows how to fix the economy and knows how to win wars and knows how to give tax breaks to the very rich and knows how that will start to work rather than "not work" and always votes against earmarks (except when he's voting FOR them) and will overturn Roe v. Wade and stop America from becoming a Socialist state has been a member of the Republican party for the past eight years, but is not responsible for any of the failures that have occurred since they came to power.

You should look up gullible before you call people it. Here is a test. Is it gullible to say, "I think the war in Iraq will be over quickly and we'll be greeted as liberators." ?

If you said "YES", well then you are wrong. That statement is actually "PATRIOTIC". See...it is only "gullible" if you disagree with a republican.

If you look at the fact that he was plucked out of the state of Illinois by the democratic power brokers...he never mentioned that 20 Yr relationship with Rev Wright " a whitey hater", William Ayres a bomber who killed 4 people in the US and just said in 2002 he would of bombed more...come on a guy that wants to be President? I expect much better judgement...he's a great speaker...but judgment they can't teach you..you either have it or you don't...I don't trust him..period..it seems like he isn't capable of smart decision-making.

Who said he had anything to do with terrorism, the point is he knowingly did business and befriended a known terrorist, its his judgement, and yes we know he was 8 yrs old when it was the 60's, but thats even more reason to question why he even associated with him knowing what hes done and what he stands for till this very day and if any American does business with Bin Laden in the future its the same principle, libs have just assumed hes being accused of terrorism and ran with it, no hes not literally being accused obots, before you blow ur lids make sure you understand first, because then you sound dumb and you the generalizations about libs seem true.

PREACH! It just annoys me that some people are still saying he's a terrorist or a Muslim which are not true (not saying there's anything wrong with being Arabic or Islamic). He's part African and White and a Christian. Born on U.S. soil. Raised by his mother and then by his maternal grandparents who are also U.S. citizens. What more do they want?! I mean don't Repubs understand by calling Obama these negative things are making them be racist towards other Muslims and Middle Easterners? It was unfortunate that those who attacked us were from a Muslim belief and Arabic race. Does not mean each and every single solitary Arabic Muslim is a terrorist out to hurt Americans. It's just like back during World War II when Japan attacked America at Pearl Harbor, which made America get involved in the war. Japanese Americans were discriminated against because of that. Did that mean that Japanese people who became American citizens residing in America planned the attack and was for it? No. So don't be angry and show hatred towards a particular group because of what a "couple" of people did. It's racism and it’s ignorance. I thought in 2008 going into 2009 Americans, no, HUMANS were more mature in mind, spirit and equality for all than we were half a decade ago.
