Should we go to war with Iran? Will that make us safer? Will that solve our economic problems?

Yes. Iran is ruled by a mad despot. We could help their people so much. Plus, we've learned many lessons about "hearts and minds" missions from Iraq.
Not only that, it would stop their nuclear weapons program, (Make no mistake, it is a WEAPONS program!) making the possibility of a rogue nuclear device much less likely.
On the terms of the economic crisis, it would help. I say this because our military does not build the weapons ourselves. We hire private companies to build our weapons of war. More demand would mean that these companies would be looking for more people to hire, thus creating more jobs.
This would be a tremendous endeavor, requiring the support of the American people. We need to get our of this mindset in our heads that says "War is easy."
Destroying a nation is easy; building an ally from an enemy is hard...

No. No. And no.
Wars don't bring anything but more terrorism. Force can't be used to make a point. All we need is to sit down together, analize the problems and find working possible solutions to conflicts.
Wars are actually the problem we would like to solve, not the means to seek peace

It will be a war with no end, and the US people will be the certain losers of that war.

No to all of the above. They are no threat to us. It'll make us less safe and we couldn't afford it anyway. Lets hope the politicians aren't this foolish.
