Any vets? Dosing question Dexamethasone?

My cat has pemphigus and I had finally gotten her into remission on the dexamethasone. We moved the dosage to every other day 10 days ago. I have noticed signs of the disease again, a scab on her head and below the mouth and her ear is twitching.

She had her pill yesterday. Should I give her another today because of signs of the disease returning. I won't be able to talk to the vet until tomorrow. Should i wait to hear from the vet or should i go ahead and up the dosage, giving her one today?

Update:

Dexamethasone is a steroid.

Update 2:

cat's about 8 pounds. She's 2 years old.

She was on the same dosage (0.75mg) once a day, but 10 days ago we went to once every other day, because she was in remission.

I've left a message with the vet, but there is no emergency number. Just a number to an emergency clinic and they won't answer a simple question like that without seeing her.

How old is the cat and do you have an aprox weight?

Cats are not very sensitive to corticosteriods. If the cat is over 9 months old and is of a healthy weight, and has no other conditions, it should be fine. Call the vets office and get their emergency number and call it to get ahold of your vet. I would suggest only giving half the dose today.
