Acer Aspire 5315 will not charge at all.?
When the power cord is plugged in to it, it will not charge at all. I have ordered a new cord, but could there be anything else be going on that doesn't have to do with the cord? Help please.
(Just to clarify. When the power cord is plugged in to the computer, it will NOT charge the computer at all. I am currently running off battery, and this just suddenly happened out of the blue about 15 minutes ago. I know its not my house, because a light in the same outlet is working.)
Please help ASAP, I am running off battery now and have 40 mins left to use it.
Btw, this computer is not even a year old, its about 7 months max if it helps.
If it is the motherboard that needs to be replaced, would my warrenty on this computer cover it?
Incase you don't know what i mean, I*just* ordered a new cord. I do not have it or have used it yet.
On the cord I have now, there is 2 small cuts, could it affect it that much?

It could be the connection on the motherboard is wrecked..... This would require a motherboard replacement and that would cost more than your laptop is worth, if this the case you would be better of buying a new laptop....
Yes it could affect it that much, even as far as wrecking circuitry and your warranty would PROBABLY cover the motherboard replacement
Hope This Helps!
