Is it possible to vomit while laying down or sleeping?

    Absolutely, it happens all the time. It can cause aspiration pneumonia.Usually in the right middle lobe. That's where the aspirated vomit goes by gravity naturally. That's a sign that it could be aspirated material.Sometimes it requires bronchoscopy to remove food chunks or whatever. And you could easily die from it. You see it often with alcohol intoxication when they pass out and vomit.

    Yes. Happens all the time with very drunk folks. You can end up aspirating it(getting it in your lungs) which can cause pneumonia.

    yes-bon scott from the band AC/DC died from this. he was drunk, he passed out and vomited, and he drowned in it.

    yah u can and it happans alot to drunk ppl and they die
