Can you tell when a person is faking?

I can usually always tell - Its all in the body language and tone of voice. For example, when a person looks to the left while they are taking it usually means they are lying.

Oh yeah totally!!! Today at a baby shower that I attended, the mom to be opened a present that I personally thought was adorable. She obviously didn't think the same but with a forced smile and a high pitched voice said "Aw thank you! Its so sweet." And quickly put it back in its box and moved on to the next gift which was something that she obviously found to be extremely awesome and with her true voice announced "how darling is this? Oh its just what I wanted".
