I need to loss some weight!!?

Fast but in a timely matter im at 230 and need to loss 100 ponds what can i do? Im not out of shape but need to get more in shape what are the things i can take or do?

    Hi

    1. I think the best change to make first is to become more active. Think of any way you can add more activity to your daily routine.

    * Walk whenever you can instead of making use of transport. If you have to take the bus to work, try and get off one stop earlier and walk the rest of the distance.

    * If you have the time, go for a brisk walk for about thirty minutes a day.

    * Do your chores with vigor and turn them into exercise.

    * Kick a ball with the kids

    * Weather permitting do some gardening

    * When you do your shopping, walk and use the bags as weights to do some strengthening.

    * Never use the elevator unless you have to, use the stairs. If you have to go too many floors, use the stairs for some and the rest with elevator etc.

    2. As your second habit I will recommend drinking at least eight glassed of water a day. Steer away from all sugary drinks such as sodas and even fruit juice. Eating the fruit is a much better choice. Keep alcohol only for special occasions.

    3. The third lifestyle choice you need to make is to make better food choices.

    * Stay clear of any fast food and convenience food as far as possible as they often contain great amounts of fat.

    * Get into the habit of reading labels when you do your shopping to see what is really in the food you buy.

    * Try and use as much fresh vegetables and fruit as possible.

    * Make low fat meat and fish choices

    * Cut out as many refined starches as possible. This includes white bread. Always go for the whole grain choices.

    4. Now comes the time where you have to look at your eating plan:

    Eat about five complex carbohydrates a day. This includes starchy vegetables such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, peas and legumes. Remember legumes can also be eaten as part of your protein portions.

    You can really pit out on your veggies. Eat at least five portions of vegetables a day. Include as wide a variety as possible. Remember, the more colorful your meal, the better it is. As your sixth portion eat lots of lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes.

    Eat three small portions of fruit a day. Remember that although fruit is very healthy, they often contain lots of sugar. Starchy fruit such as bananas has to be limited to no more than one small portion a day. Good fruit choices are apples, pears, oranges, strawberries, peaches, mangoes, melons etc.

    It takes -3500 calories to loose a pound, which means you need to both burn calories by working out & take less calories in by eating in order to loose weight.

    Eat fruits & veggies of course. It's typical to eat a small breakfast and a big dinner, but my health teacher said you actually want to do the opposite. And never skip breakfast, it helps you loose weight. I stopped driking pop and lost 50 pounds in 1 year!! Don't drink juice. You'd think fruit juice is good for you, but its not. It has alot of sugar and extra calories. People say dont eat carbs' not true, 60% of your diet is suposed to be from some type of carbs... just make sure you eat whole grain or whole wheat bread. And drink only skim milk, all others arent so great for you. Just watch what you eat and pay attention to nutrition labels!

    Make sure you do some weight bearing activities along with cardio, it'll help build muscle and burn fat! If you cant buy a gym membership try going for a walk or run ourside, doing jumping jacks, jump rope, running up & down your stairs, lifting weights, doings situps & pushups.. those are just some ideas that'll help!

    Here is my story, that might help. I was 140 lb 5'7" male had no reason to loose any weight. Six months ago my doctor (alternative medicine) asked me to stop eating meat products (fish is ok). I decided to listen to him and just have two meals of meat per week and rest vegetables and fish (moderate portion), I also stopped eating any fried food. Now I weigh only 120lb. Mostly lost all the belly fat.

    fresh fruits and veggies..

    cut out dairy... cut back on meats.. want meat? get fresh from butcher.

    and really cut down on the processed foods... they're killers.
