best ammo to shoot a computer with/?

so your computer finally died and you don't know what to do with it?

I'd shoot it with a assortment of shot, bullets, and slugs. Maximum fun.

start by completely disassembling its insides. take out the hard drive, CPU, heat sinks, ram, disk drives, fans. toss any unwanted computer peripherals, cables, accessories like the mouse and speakers in the case. mash it in there is you have to.

then start with something small. A .22lr if you have one. shoot it until it has many, many holes all over and the stuff inside has been smashed. Then a larger caliber, a pistol or rifle. finally, finish it off with birdshot, slugs, and then buckshot. In the end it should be thoroughly pulverized, scattered all over the ground.

if you got any tannerite put about 2-5 LBs of that in the remains of the case, put as much remaining stuff of the computer you can find, and then shoot it wit ha high power rifle round.

setting it on fire and then sticking a co2 fire extinguisher on top also works. (idea from mythbusters)

I recommend that you not shoot your computer. I know it is tempting but still not recommended. I usually satisfy my computer shooting urges by jumping from my chair, leaping back a few paces, and shooting it "The Bird" while shouting "F--K You, Bill Gates and Al Gore". Needless to say, this is reserved for my home computer not my work computer, for obvious reasons. Also it is only done when my wife is not at home. But when I can do it, damn it feels so good. Try it.

I would use 12 guage turkey load or buckshot. Or if you just want to have fun shoot with a .22 about 100 times that would be the most fun. Have fun lol

I like 9mm for this, you can get a reasonable hole but you get some time to take out your frustration before it's no longer worth shooting at.

For a fast takedown a slug between the corners seems to trash the case fast, but for bouncing the thing around I suppose the buckshot is the thing.

The American Military Snipers are using a .411 caliber (experimental cartrige) bullet for human kills out to a range of 2 miles or so. I would ask them if they can hit your computer from that distance. I'll bet they can hit the on/off button.

Just use buckshot.

Although I'd rather just throw it off a tall building. No need to waste ammo on it and it'll still get pretty well thrashed. Course you'd have to have your own tall building for that since the cops wouldn't be too happy when you hit someone walking on the sidewalk.

I prefer to kill it slowly. Try beating it with a hammer to see if that helps. Finish it off with a 3 1/2" load of 6 shot out of a 12 gauge.
