Cat Rape? Very strange cat behavior!?
Cat Rape?? Strange cat behavior.?
Okay, I know this is gonna sound weird, but hear me out. We had two kittens when they were born....both boys. We had them both for a couple of months and then found a home for one of them (the in-laws). They've now been seperated for maybe three months. Tonight was a family birthday party, so we decided to take our cat Mojo with us so that he could visit his brother. As we walked in the door, we expected to see a heart-felt reunion between the two of them. Our cat walked up to the other, they sniffed eachother and nuzzled and acted as if they still loved each other. As we all sat there saying "Aww....how sweet" and adoring the reunion, the other cat suddenly growled, grabbed out cat by the back of the neck with his mouth, and held on very aggressively, and held him down, and proceeded to MOUNT him very violently. They are both boy cats! Our poor cat started crying for help and we quickly separated them. We were all in shock! No one expected THAT to happen. The whole time we were there the other cat wanted to get at ours. We had to keep them in two different rooms to keep ours from being raped by the other. Even in the gap under the door, the other kept trying very aggressively to get into that room. WHY WOULD HE DO THIS?? Are there gay cats? Does the one cat have emotional problems?? Is this normal behavior?? It was funny to me, for sure....but it got me wondering why in the heck it happened?? Does anyone have any ideas???

LMAO.
That is the BEST way to win a fight.
Make the other person cry while raping them... I believe this is worthy of the phrase "owned"

You mentioned that your kitty is a theraputic pet, but you didn't mention for what. I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that you have seizure disorder. This type of behavior is more common than you think among trained theraputic pets. He probably is sensing a change in your body chemistry and the biting is his way of telling his mommy that something is wrong. The aggresive behavior towards your neighbor's cat may possibly be frustration (both sexual and from not being understood). You also mentioned that he only attacks your left foot. Have you been experiencing right hemisphere headaches or vision changes? You may be heading for a cerebral incident. Chemical changes in your body will be predominantly noticed in foot smell, its like catnip. If you're experiencing phantom smells (like something burning), you need to get yourself to your doctor A.S.A.P.!!! If I'm totally off, you might try Dr Scholl's night repair foot cream. It smells like raspberry beer and is offensive to most cats. Please let me know how this turns out, my email is open.

It was not rape, it was a show of dominance. The other cat was showing your's that he was in his house and he had to submit to him. Cats don't remember each other after so long. As far as your in laws' cat knew it was just a strange cat coming in to his territory.

Its perfectly normal in cats
Its a display of dominance. Two male cats in the same area - one needs to display that they are top cat.

You took a strange cat into the other cats territory. they do not remember each other. Mojo's brother was being dominant and saying get out of my house. He was not trying to mate him or rape him. He was just defending his territory. Two male cats where brothers or not will fight to the death. Most likely the brother would have tried to kill Mojo.

It's normal behavior.I have a houseful of cats, all spayed or neutered and there are several of the boys who do this to each other.Sometimes, they will pick on one of the girls, but they won't stand for it and slap the males.I just call them stupid!

the only problem was that you brought your cat into another cat's territory...and probably the other cat is more of an alpha male sort of cat so thet is why he started that.
