Can you recommend healthy snacks that do not require refrigeration?
My roommate's gone. Now under normal circumstances, it's dandy but considering she took her refrigerator and microwave along with, I can't bring anything to my room that I cannot eat in one setting or put away in a cupboard. I'm on a meal plan that allots two meals per day. That's certainly not enough nutrition, so I obviously need food nearby.
Thus far, I've got:
- Tortilla chips (baked)
- Almonds
- Oranges
- Apples
- Granola bars
- Oatmeal (there's a microwave in the main lobby)
Really trying to avoid picking up junk food. Any suggestions?

You can buy a container with mixed nuts with cranberries. I bought one and its so good. It has cranberries, raisins, almonds, walnuts, pepitas, peanuts, and sunflower seeds. Other snacks are bananas, nectarines, oranges, plums, pears, grapes, cherry tomatoes, peanutbutter, wheat bread

Those pudding snacks that are NOT in the refrigerated section are pretty good and portion controlled. But get the sugar free instead of the fat free.
Also, nuts as mentioned in your post.
Raisins or any dried fruit.
Dry cereal, chex are good without milk.
Those microwavable cans of soup where you just pop the top are good and they are filling. A little pricey at 1.25-1.50 a can but still good.
