can i use canned spinach in recipes instead of fresh.(ex scrabbled egg.....?
spinach and feta pizza bagels? I always use fresh spinach for everything, but my mom gave me a lot of canned spinach that she got on sale...lol..and i just didn't want to waste it!!!!

Yes but if you're use to fresh spinach you might not like the taste and texture of the canned spinach. Like the others mentioned, make sure to squeeze out the water. you might also want to give it a quick rinse in cold water first to remove some of the salt and whatever makes canned spinach kind of slimy!

Perhaps canned spinach is not a bad cooking ingredient but when purchasing product always choose the lowest on sodium and as everyone else mentioned drain the water.
p.s.personally I try to steer away from canned veggies.

Yeah for sure. Just make sure you drain the liquid. I also love spinach, usually get frozen spinach in little blocks ready to go.

Yes of course,just make sure you drain it well because it will most likely be in some kind of brine or water that will taste a bit salty and make the spinach watery.
